With the Lightning to SD card reader, it's easy to load photos and videos from a digital camera onto your iPad or iPad mini so you can share them with family and friends on the brilliant display.
After you have inserted the SD card into the card reader, the iPad automatically opens the Photos app and you can select which photos and videos you want to import, which are then stored in albums. When you synchronize the iPad or iPad mini with your PC or Mac, the photos and videos on the iPad are then added to the photo archive on the computer.
The Lightning to SD card reader supports standard photo formats, including JPEG and RAW, as well as SD and HD video formats such as H.264 and MPEG-4.
