With the USB-C VGA multiport adapter, you can connect your USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) capable Mac to a VGA display and a standard USB device at the same time and also connect a USB-C charging cable.
With the USB-C VGA multiport adapter, you can transfer your Mac display in up to 1080p HD to your VGA-capable TV or display. You can also use it to play video content such as movies or self-recorded videos. Simply connect the adapter to the USB-C or Thunderbolt 3 (USB-C) port on your Mac and then use a VGA cable (sold separately) to connect a TV or projector.
With the normal USB port, you can connect devices such as a flash drive, a camera or a USB cable and synchronize and charge your iPhone, iPad or iPod. You can also connect a charging cable to the USB-C port on your Mac.
Note: The Apple USB-C VGA Multiport Adapter is not compatible with the G-Tech G-DRIVE mobile USB 3.0 hard disk (Apple part number HF4F2VC/A).
